No - I think Nige summed it up perfectly the other week Its quiet, but its nice to drop in and catch up from time to time.

ok, ive tried asking for my account to be deleted. it never is.
Dont see the point in wasting time visiting a dead board.

I don't see the issue. If you think the board is dead, don't visit. I don't get why you'd want your account deleted or anything?

I think a number of us check back a few times a week, but rarely have anything new to say...

I check about... twice a day normally


broken wrist right now, can't work, so I check 12 times a day

I'm overworked at the moment which is why you've hardly seen me about, otherwise I would be posting more.

I don't get the whole account deletion thing either, just go away and come back again if/when you feel like it?

That and it costs me sod all to keep the place going, so why bother shutting it all off. Even if no one came and posted again I'd still keep it going for nostalgia's sake.

Echo the above really, I generally check in daily. If you don't want to see it why keep coming back? bit random to ask for it to be turned off just because you think its dead you're the only one that can decide to view the board or not for yourself...

I check daily, although it's evident that this place is never once what it was, but people still check by and non forum members still visit for some of the guides....

It's sad to see nothing posted for a week, but we don't have a specialty or anything to draw new people, so inevitably the die hard will stick around and we may get a newbie asking a couple of questions, but wouldn't expect much more.. 

Shame to see the forum quiet, but we won't go out without a fight

Yeah it's quiet. I think we've all grown up, we're not the late teen/early 20 somethings that we used to be. I know when I was at uni, I was on here all the time.

But it's nice to drop in now and again, see what's going on

Guys, can you help. There's this shop down the end of my road that I don't like. It never seems to have any customers. How can I get them to close the shop down? I know I could just walk past it but I don't want to.
