I know sh*ts bad right now with all that starving bullsh*t and the dust storms and we are running out of french fries and burrito coverings.

How smart are we talking? Stephen Hawking, a dalmation or Katie Price (in descending order of intelligence)?

I have a pebble and use it.

Very handy for what I use it for but wouldn't consider buying a fancier one as well tbh a watch form factor for most things is just bloody annoying enough to make me get my phone that has to be in range of the watch anyway.

Best features of my pebble.

Battery life is a week, good enough not to be annoying.

Apps like runkeeper and others will post to its screen so I can have my phone in a in a pocket or armband and check my current pace, distance, etc from my watch.

Additionally handy in work. Can leave phone on silent and watch will notify me of text messages (and let me read them) and will show name of caller (and let me dismiss them) allowing me to quickly dismiss a vibrating phone mid-meeting or without having to faff with the phone itself.

Also like the "get back" app that shows a simple compass and range from a set point (set by hitting a button on the watch) useful for finding a car in a carpark.
