My boot drive was 2 quite old OCZ vertex ssds in RAID0.

The other day the system hung during shut down, it just stopped at the "windows is shutting down" page, so i had to kill it with the old 5 second off button.
When I switched it back on it would hang at the 'windows loading' page.

I tried all the windows repair and restore options and that didn't work. For one reason or another I think the problem is with the raid0 boot drive, even though they were showing up in bios fine and starting to boot to windows before hanging.

I've got a new SSD today and reinstalled windows on it and that went fine system is back up and running now.

I've plugged in the old sdds and formatted them and they are showing up and working fine (only 30gb each so pretty useless) but wondering if there is anyway to test them? just to confirm thats what caused my initial issues.

Anyone recommend some ssd test software? the ocz software doesnt seem compatible with them, they dont show up in it.

Rhino

Have used both of these in the past, Pretty sure I used for an SSD also :)
