After his abandoned failure to build a bridge as Lord Mayor of London he now wants to build another bridge. Across the Channel to France?

Considering Boris the Clown is against EU membership, and EU migrant workers, and definitely against illegal immigrants isn't building a bridge a step backwards? I mean those 'foreigners' could just walk across! Someone please take Boris, put him in a nice straight jacket, then a well padded room, lock the door and throw the key away, preferably into the sun.

Even Nigel Farrage says it's a big waste of money.

Only reason we got trains in the tunnel & not cars is because from what I see on the roads, most people aint got a f**king clue how to drive

I can easily imagine the hordes of illegals storming across the bridge, fighting off police on the way...

You nailed it on the head about drivers.

Tunnel risk isn't just cars but the exhaust gasses from cars. By insisting they travel on electric trains it's safer both ways.

My personal issues with building a bridge would be safety and the involvement of BoJo the Clown.
