Quite bizarre to see all the content from 2009, and then new posts in 2018.

It's a bit of a shame as I imagine the only people who will play it now are the original crew. Too many Mobile games with fancy graphics out there to entice new players away...

DoM is active.

Seems that generally there's maybe about 2-3 players per country that are active. Making finding a good target difficult!

To be honest it's been a nice trip down sentimentality lane...but I won't be playing again next season.

MW was really cool and good fun...10 years ago. I still love the premise of the real time travel and globally coordinated efforts in wars, but it's still just text based. Times have moved on. Not least in how accessible communication is now. I think there is a post somewhere on the MW boards that the creator is thinking of a mobile app game, but it might as well be vapourware.

Plus I have a job. I'm not a student any more, and can't afford to be checking my phone every 30 mins!
