A fast-track visa route for Nobel prize laureates and other award-winners in science, engineering, the humanities and medicine has failed to attract any applicants.

Another Tory gov fail. Then they did 'get Brexit done'. Oh wait, no they didn't. It's still ongoing in perpetuity.

Can't really excuse Bojo the clown and his circus posse on this one, a massively misjudged failure.

None of the science sector wanted brexit. A large proportion of research was funded by Europe. I remember when brexit happened the British Trust for Ornithology was left reeling as even though its the "British" Trust, most of the money came from Europe.

Same with most of the big projects at Uni, European funded. A good chunk of the good post docs were European too. Such a shambles.

Boris is a wild boar in a china shop when we need real negotiators. He just says "this is what I want to happen" with no assessment of the viability of that. Unfortunately his 'team' of ministers are equally hopeless.

Brexit was supposed to reduce migration, except it removed our ability to deport migrants back to France. Then Boris conducts yet another fail by insulting the French by stating we could station forces on their territory.
