DRM only restricts those who have bought the music legally, anyone else can get the MP3 or whatever from the web without any problem.

TBH they arent trying to protect the artists rights but their own fat pay packets...

Hopefully the UK will move along the same lines as the French government on this.

for perhaps the 2nd or 3rd time ever I am 100% behind something the UK government said. Lets hope they arnt all talk and no trousers on this one!

Hopeully things will get better and this will encourage less illegal activities and the price may fall in the future. I can dream cant i??  ;)

Did you obtain a copy licence from the author before rebistributing that thread? Oh Never mind the UK Government is going to permit copying for personal use, maybe I shouldnt be reading the stuff you put in quotes heh.
