Now I wonder how old that is? Ive got (actually ni has it  :x ) a fairly old Clarkson video where he goes off in a Ford coupe of some sort versus C McRae in a WRC Focus versus Johnny Herbert in a Ford-sponsored F1 car, to much the same effect.....

I imagine they had them do a few timed laps then worked out when to set them off to make it really close, at least thats what I would do.

Got to be quite old. Schumacher looked very young there, the F1 car was still Ferrari Red instead of Marlboro Red, the F1 car had slick tyres. If I had to guess, Id say that was probably 96/97
