No, I was just suggesting a swap to a pentium D rather than the A64, as youll squeeze a LOT more out of it on a decent motherboard (And good cooler)

Bearing in mind I cant be arsed with overclocking, would you still recommend that?

Nothing you are doing would require that sort of power, TBH if anything its overspecified anyway, my old 1.3ghz can still do most of it and my 2500+ certainly meets the needs

That said get 2x1gb sticks of ram to fully future proof it, just in case you want to do something heavier

TBH Im not bothering to upgrade this year, will wait till next and then get a new system unit with the latest windaz
