Has anyone got the new flash player working on ubuntu?

You have to use WINE for the moment if you want to use flash > v7. :?

Tried getting the .xpi version of the installer instead? (Click this link from firefox running under wine.)

How do I get to firefox under wine?
Its installed as well as Wine but I cant find it
