thats quite fun, the simplest 3d modeller ever, more of a toy and CAD imo though.

i downloaded this a few weeks ago but its been sitting on me desktop waiting to be installed.

Is it any good? worth installing?
Isnt it only for google maps, which is where i got it from?

tbh if you can draw alias is better. and the renderer is better as well.

not bad for a free proggie tho. i wouldnt use it tho

Ive used this many times.  (Before google bought it - always been free/shareware)

Very good app and trivial to use. :)

In fact think a few of us used it to model the xbox a while back when we were fitting them in other cases on the old forums.

i tried it a while ago and found it a bit too simplistic for my needs

ok for messing about and such but not much use for any kinda structural sketches

damn good for a free program

Yep.  If you want a free and very good 3d modeler, blender is brilliant.  It might be near impossible to use when you first install it, but a few tutorials later and you can do some nifty stuff with it.
