Quite often my PC wont boot, its my sata cable come loose, Its a sh*t design IMO, how do users get round this.

A glue gun, dont even need to buy the gun, just a box of sticks and a ciggie lighter.
I know sh*ts bad right now with all that starving bullsh*t and the dust storms and we are running out of french fries and burrito coverings.

sata cables have always been snug the ones ive been using.
but yeah, go with hot glue, i used to see it often on ide cables and the like in pcs at work to stop them working loose in transit.

other option might be that youve worn the sata cable end too much and its not being held in with friction any more, new cable might sort it.

i use non-conductive insulating tape on each side of the inside of the connector to make it snug

Thanks everbody.

Some plugs are better than others.  Some pull out so easily, others you have to really yank.  Guess youll just have to try different ones if you dont like the idea of glue :)
