cats tend to destroy lots of wildlife but provide comfort for lonely old ladies

dogs tend to scare the crap out of the post man but are also effective against burglars

so which are the best

add a few good and bad points about either in the thread

cats are clearly the best as they dont stink and dont cover your house in hair.

but they will often try to scratch up the furniture - unless you train them with a water pistol.

Er my cat constantly moults. Shes a walking furball factory, not balding just fur.. everywhere lol.

She also likes dragging half a tree in with her from outside too, her favourite hiding spot is under some brambles, they attach to her fur and she ends up dragging half the garden in with her.

Our first cat tried to rip my hand to bits before it even got into the house and then attacked my dad when he came in. You could hold it on the palm of one hand...

It was named Titch by my mum for being so small and  then decided to grow  into a huge thing. It went for every dog in the street and won every time, even some people were terrified of it. If it didnt like the look of you it would get you sooner or later, usually sooner.

Second one you could pick it up, turn it on its back and stroke its tummy and all it would do was purr. The thing totally ignored cat toys and any effort to get it to play.


Dispite everything they are still preferable to dogs though.

Dogs get my vote mainly because I have one.

Good points:

Alot more playfull imo and they dont lord it around the house.
Burglars think twice about a house with a dog in it.
Can be trained to help humans, Guide Dogs etc.

Bad Points:

S*** everywhere in the garden, no place left untouched in mine.

Cats

Good Points:

S*** and P*** in one place and are alot cleaner.

Bad Points:

Horriable hidden claws that stick in and hurt.
They can be arrogant little sods who act as if they own the house.
Cats dont seem to like me my mates always attacked me when I was at his house.  :x

Thats where you made the mistake, they *do* own the house, and their supposed owners. Your name on paper means nothing to a cat.

Remember, if you have a dog, you own it, if you have a cat, it owns you.

Keep that in mind and you will get along fine

Theres one that goes onto Tynemouth station, according to the cat it owns the station and anything thats in it.

Dogs are better, tho its kind of biast saying ive got allergies with cats...

Well the question didnt limit the size of cats did it

your not suposed to squash tigers, your suposed to hold there mouths wide open to suficate them

doesent work on dogs tho, especially when you pin the big dog and the puppy nibbles on your leg
(you have to let go when they get there mouth around something... thats the rules
