Well take it with a pinch of salt since its an official PS3 Magazine of course but it seems SOny DO have "some" machines that actually work in some sort of form

If the xbox didnt really succeed in Japan due to the things size, and the 360 is in a similar boat, How are they expecting that massive thing to cope?

Yes the Xbox, 360 & PS3 are all rather large boxes. We know that japan dont like that.

The Xbox was just that, a PC in an intruding black box for games. The 360, even though a large console, isnt that much of a eyesore, it actually looks nice wherever it sits.

I suspect the PS3 will get away with it but arguably not as well as the 360.

Both the 360 and the wii look very nice white and yeah 360 is not small but its design makes it deceptivly small.
The new large scale ps3 is just Big, with a big dome.

Well it seems it was not a finaly ps3 at all, its int he case but not the final hadrware, its still a devlopment machine the lastest version of such cramed into a ps3 case and what was used at the lastest show and not final at all.
