Brilliant idea, the lad is selling them for Ã,£12 inc p&p each. Im half tempted to get one myself if it wasnt for the stigma of wearing a reflective jacket :D lol.

Serious

Only illegal if it said POLICE or if you try imitating one.

Decided what with it getting dark now on both ends of my commute, Id get one of these babies :D lol. Only Ã,£12 so not much of an outlay. Hope im in time to order one now, only 15 exist in the UK so far :D

Rofl :)

Everyone I see on my commute wears one, someone has one that has lights in that flash. looks like a christmas tree going down the road.

And.. today I got sideswiped by not 1, but 2 twats who decided to overtake at a road narrowing, now theyll have no excuse for not seeing me.

(Its raining cats and dogs, despite having all my lights on, I was getting buzzed allllllll the fudging time. People drive like fscking idiots in the rain.)

Its not because they cant see you, usually its because theyre nobs.

i cant wear anything more than a cycing jersey and either 3/4 length shorts or knee length shorts on my bike...

...even in winter, i over heat, i think reflective jerseys and LEDs etc. are good, but i swelter - i am very stocky, so i generate alot of heat when exercising, id be about 3stone lighter at the end of a ride if i wore that.

M3ta7h3ad

im a huge bloke, I overheat... but then Id overheat if I was cycling and wearing a g string. lol.

And FC9K your right most likely but the wording on the jacket may confuse them enough to not do it ;) Spesh at night when I end up wearing a black jacket.

lol you kinky bastard.

im thunking of getting a waterproof cycling jersey, any good makes? also trousies are becoming an issue.

M3ta7h3ad

Apparantly the Altura Nevis is a great waterproof.

Im making do with a thick black winter jacket.

Incidentally it turned up today :) Already fooled friends

"why do you have a police jacket?!"
"what?"
"outside... why do you have a police jacket?"
"er I dont"
"yeah you do, it says pol...ite on the back, why the fudge have you got a jacket that says polite on the back!?"
"ha... you hit the nail on the head there. :)"

As for rain proofing your legs, have you heard of "RainLegs"? they are like cycling chaps. :) Basically cover from your waist to your knee, and only the front. Just strap over whatever clothing your currently wearing in seconds, and apparantly thats all thats needed.

Ah well it worked I think on the way in, had less people f**k with me or rather it seemed like it. Generally normally always have one person causing me to go "argh!", not this time yet though.
