Anyone see it ? Impressive stuff, in case you didnt know its a special development from Litchfields / Powerstation in Tewksbury.

415 bhp, 0-60 in 3.8 seconds and more importantly easy to live with as a day to day driver.

40k though, cheaper than a supercar for sure but an awful lot of money for a Subaru..

If you ask nicely hell even do you a T25 Forester ;)

Oh yeah - rest of the show was Gash as usual..

Mongoose

What about a Justy?

"see the little red button?"

"yeah"

"dont press the red button"

Mark

Its still the modern day Nova SR though..

youre having a giraffe.

the nova SR was a hot hatch. as in if you got to 60 in less than 10 secs you had a massive grin on your face. you might not make it round the next corner...

the Impreza and cars of its ilk are nothing like. theyre out and out weapons. and this tuned one will hit 60 in less than 4 secs.

the impreza handles, is more technologically advanced, is a family car, has space, is safe,

in short, you couldnt be more wrong.

the zetec-s is probably the spiritual successor to the nova SR.

I think he was just higlighting the fact that classic shape imprezas seem to have a tendancy of falling to the army of neds :)

The subaru impreza is the choice of spides (You know them as chavs or neds) and farmers - theyre so common you get sick of seeing them.

It might not be the same over there, but literally every other car here is an impreza - yawn.

exactly, they are now the preferred choice over a 320i round here.  Used to be either a white 320i or a red 2.0 GTE depending on how much money you had.  These days its long lines of subaru badges, and they don;t actually know how to drive them either.  What should really be a fairly desirable car has turned into a chavwagon.

There is only 1 car I would buy around that class of money - A Noble!

Thats pretty awesome for a 40k family car, but yeah image is an issue.

I know sh*ts bad right now with all that starving bullsh*t and the dust storms and we are running out of french fries and burrito coverings.

redneck

the subaru p1 was sub 4 seconds.

personally i would want a bit of class for that money. speed isnt everything

Nos

It all depends what youre after. If you want an out and out track car that will pretty much run circles around most motors youll encounter at track days, then the Type 25 is a good bet.

If you want classy wheels, then look elsewhere
