Im trading the PSP in on a 360 today, but Ill probably only be able to get one game. so the question is, which game to get?

Pro Evolution 6 could be good, I really fancy PGR3, Gears of War sounds like a corker, but I think Ive had my fill of FPS games.

I quite like puzzle style games, like super monkey ball which was a bit of a laugh for 10 minutes. However this box must be a bit more capable than super monkey ball.

So

1. What game to get?

2. Should I be waiting for a Wii?

3. Can you run the 360 without a net connection? (Im in temp accomodation).

1) Id go for PGR3 if you dot fancy any FPS.

2) Yes and No; The Wii will not look as good as the 360.

2) I really cant wait for the Wii but in my opinion like the Cube it serves better as a 2nd console... Its cheap enough

1) Nah Pro Evo all the way. PG3 is ace but the replayability of Pro Evo is far superior.

2) Agree with Dooms - 2nd console if you have cash to blow.

3) Of course you can - most of the d/l content is crap and you all know it!! I guess the updates are good but if I want to play Defender Ill use MAME.

Checkout the bundles thread; Blockbuster are doing a pretty good Premium bundle for Ã,£350.

You might be better off eBaying your PSP and buying with cash; you never get a decent trade in price anyway.

getting 90 for the psp which is what I gave for it. its missing a box.

i thought so. im strongly leaning towards PGR3 and Call of duty 3, as I used to love multiplayer Call of Duty and I will be getting a phat pipe when my house is ready. Anyone played either of the above online?

NHL 2007 is the only game thats offered me an addiction.

Gears Of Wars is third person too, and very pretty.

PGR is naff. But then i do prefer arcade racers.

update: went to gamestation and they didnt have any copies of PGR3 in.
the bundles were all rubbish and they didnt have a bundle with GOw.

however they did have a bundle which was XB360 Premium one game from 5 and any other 3 games for 340 (and thats any as in ANY!). so after my trade in i got

Gears of War Collectors Edition
Call of Duty 3
Far Cry
Pro Evolution Soccer 6
for 235 notes.
And because I wanted PGR3 and they didnt have it, whichever of the above I dont like gets swapped for PGR3 when they manage to hunt down a copy.

Aye not bad, been reading about making the most from this offer on AVForums, personally of your lot, Id ditch FarCry for PGR3...

Then again I dont like either.
