It was really big.  Nice and shiny, but it just looked like someone had chiselled it out of a big feck off block of granite.  Might be well finished, but still looks leviathan.

Have to say, the graphics were appalling.  The game I saw was some truck driving thing (I heard a guy say ridge racer?).  PS2 standard visuals or lower really, its going to be at least a year I reckon before anyone manages to code things even half properly for it.  Didnt seem too noisy which was a plus.

I got offered a go (it sat unused most of the time I was with it) but for some reason I couldnt be arsed.  I have to say, when its somewhere with no hype and no crowds of awed geeks its really not that impressive, it could have been a SNES for all the attention it was getting.

Now, if it had been a Wii...

Just had a google.  Ridge Racer 7 was the game, the pickup-looking thing I saw was one of the more chunky cars.  TBH I was too busy trying to get a job with the company to pay too much attention

But it shows how fan boyery they are over in the east. Have a right go at the black big box of xbox 360 but then buy and go nuts over the as big if not bigger with the dome ps3.

it has been said that the comparison pics have been bodged/faked though.

i mean the PS3 could be connected via s-video or something, and the eggbox vga.

either way. i have the 360. im happy.

Arent they supposed to be roughly the same volume? Only real difference is the ps3 looks a bit more floppy.
