Dave there are a lot of other common foods and materials that contain estrogen like chemicals. Many plastics contain plasticisers which can leech into food from the packing, this is especially true for meat.

In London until recently there has been quite a lot of birth control chemicals simply going straight into the river, pulled out downstream and processed for tap water. They arent the only chemicals that were shoved into the water supply this way either...


I certainly wouldnt suggest giving babies soya milk formula though. Better to feed them on the food they were built to take, mothers milk

There is a probability that the levels of estrogen like substances we are pumping out is having a detrimental effect to people as well as animals and fish. You may be getting sperm quality problems but as to the cause, its very difficult to say. There are some women with a naturally high level of Testosterone, and while it makes them *RANDY*, increases hair growth and deepens the voice, it doesnt make them lesbians. Same with blokes, they may end up with feminine features but they wont become gay.

Just a point, during the 15 years that i was a vegetarian I hardly ate any soybean products at all (that I know of), I dont like quorn and there are plenty of better alternatives made from vegetables.

Thats a false statement too.  I eat "health food" but Im certainly no vege and dont have many if any soy products.
