Im buying a Wii off my fiancees friend and picking it up tonight. Its cost me Ã,£250.00 (haggled as he wanted Ã,£300) and comes with two controllers, nunchuck, wii sports, wii play, red steel and some older stuff (colomns, zelda etc..). Its from Amazon and still has full warrenty from last month.

Whats the best thing to try first?
Career, Wife, Mortgage... my sig was better when it listed guitars and PC's and stuff!

Alone... Red Steel (Well actually, go out and buy Zelda... then fiancée can watch! :P)

With fiancée or friends get working on Wii Sports... is brilliant fun with mates (not so great alone)

Cant wait till Im back now! I want to beat you up :D

Thats a good price, he could have got way more than that off ebay!

Let me know what red steel is like, i heard it was pap but I really like the look of the swordplay :D

I know and he did want more but I used to do sales so Im pretty good at getting the best price (as many old suppiers used to find out lol!!)

Looking forward to Red Steel - some ppl Ive spoke to liked it so hopefully itll be ok - I just want wii sports to be honest!!

Ive put my copy of Red Steel on ebay. Had high hopes, but I wasnt very impressed with it :(

Didnt like Red Steel either. It looked so good in the preview vids of it, but it just failed to impress me when I finally got my hands on it.

I found it awful, the controls are quite nice but the gameplay and graphics absolutely suck.

It looks worse than goldeneye

Red Steel is a very chalk and cheese game.  You either like it or dont.  The two people who bought it for me for Christmas thought it was really good.  I havent been able to play it :(

Ok having played it for a few hours I have to say I love it!! Once you get used to the controls its loads of fun. I know everythings a bit repetitive but its so satisfying (esp the explosions) and the guns are pretty nice too.

Ive played Red Steel and found the controls difficult. I also thought the graphics were rather poor too. I too had high hopes for it, maybe Zelda will be better.

Im just looking forward to Mario Party 8! Ive got all of the ones on the Gamecube and theyve always been fun with a few friends around.
