Not necessarily, thats just a test mule.  Means that theyve most likely got most of the hard work done, theyre just running hot/cold field testing and checking geometries etc.  If its disguised then theyve probably done all the powertrain work.

mitsubishi have sh*t all over subaru in terms of a "better car" as in people who buy those kinda cars are only interested in the bang for their buck
and the fact that everyone and their dog drives a first edition scooby makes them not as desirable as the evo

Theyre the choice of spides over here (Imprezas)

My brother did unfortunately have an impreza before he got the FQ - they both have pretty sh*tty interiors, but the evo feels a lot better on the road.
