Im rather pleased with tonights work on my new site :) Took a bit of farting around for a while flowing between Photoshop and Fireworks + Dreamweaver and CodersNotepad. But its sort of getting on well :) Pic --->

Moving the image from my CRT to TFT its wierd....

The Colours are not the same, I know its got to do with light vs dark on both... I think it looks nice and vibrant on my TFT tho :)

Its not l33t hacker stuff its just sticking with the whole iD13 stuff... Im going to re-do them into a nice typography for the links :)

ARGH YOU PUT NICE TYPOGRAPHY IN WITH 733T HAX SPEAK, MY TYPE AND ERGONOMICS LECTURER WILL EAT HIS HAIR!!!!


think something nice and sans serif, around 9 high for the main body, lineweights should be simple. as this is a layout displaying information you have to make it so that it can be easily and intuitivly navigated using existing knowledge.

right to left and all that bullsh*t.

one thing is using "index" rather than "home" or "main"

whilst the front page of a website is usually index.* that name wont have much point on a non techy who expects an index of the site etc

main, home, front are much better names for the start page of a website
