I just spent $300(Ã,£160) on car washing stuff  :?
OH isnt happy

maximusotter

You deserve a slappping!

I cant see spending more than $10 on car stuff, and that includes Armor All for the rubber and tires, some microfiber towels, and a jug of Simple Green to melt off the brake dust.

Its a car, not a whore. $300 for a really good BJ--that Id condone.

$210 for a buffer?! :drama:

Thats insane! Does it have  bling bling? A chrome spinner? Fuzzy dice? Dingle balls and a free compact Puerto Rican.

Random orbit buffer: $30
Mothers car polish: $10-20

:P

Thats not a bad rate, that, when converted.

But shiiteing hell, how is it possible to spend Ã,£160 on car washing stuff? Does this include a pressure washer or something? Meguirs up to the eyeballs I can imagine. Oh wait, you got a buffer?? Damn.

Youre an idiot.  Thats all there is to it.  We use Ã,£30 buffers to go through gelcoat on the bottom of yachts.  That a ROVER would need anything even approaching that kind of torque is ridiculous.

im really starting to lose patience with peoples clueless ramblings on this site.

I havent been had at all i spent weeks researching what the professionals use and have spoken to loads of pros before buying this.
This is one of 3 random orbit polishers that are worth using, none of which are available directly in the UK. The porter cable has the best motor, the best control of the most speeds and the best throw. Apart from a rotory polisher (which takes years of practice to be good at and is dangerous in untrained hands) it is the best.

funkychicken9000

and my gold kettle lead has half the stray capacitance of your copper one.

maximusotter

Well, upon research, its highly rated:
http://www.amazon.com/Porter-Cable-7424-Variable-Speed-Random-Orbit-Polisher/dp/B00004SUQ8/sr=8-1/qid=1171835949/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/104-4584980-5572760?ie=UTF8&s=hi

Costs $120 w/o the pads.

Still, Id rather have a BJ and a nice steak for that kind of money.

Serious

Do you think we should wind him up some more? After all he spent the money and it isnt like hes going to change his mind now or his choice ;)

redneck

you are going to get a sh*t herpes infested whore for that price.

i would rather get drunk
