Right... need a new drivers side manual wing mirror for my Mk6 Escort.

Does anyone know any decent websites to source one from? Ford want Ã,£170 for part + paint + fit, which Id rather not pay if at all possible.

Id look at ford entusiast websites myself. Theres always a parts dealer on the forum.

Aye Ive had a look at few, seem to be a lot of sort of breakers search sites. Just wondered if anyone had had good or bad personal experience with any of them really.

I couldnt find the best deal, I just gave up and called my local independant dealer from the yellow pages. Knighty actually told me about them, but they dont work that far south.

Dont forget scrap yards, you might get lucky and find one. Een if its the wrong colour you might be able to paint it.

there suposed to have depos all over the country ?

they used to be called Autella and were next door to my work, but then they re-named and moved mile or so away.... good guys in the local one, it helps knowing them when you need a filter and you dont know which of the five possible filters it is.... they just hand over the lot and charge me for the one I used when I take the other 4 back

should have the same prices in each dopo tho id guess ?
