My contract is coming to an end at last and its time for a new mobile and a new plan.

What i want in my mobile :

Mp3
Video
Good camera for close pics (nothing major!)
Web-browser
Games
Simple enough to transfer games/music/pics

What i want in my plan :

300ish Text a month
Some Call time
Recently i go on the net a lot with it, so anything to do with that would be great.

I have been looking at the Nokia 6280 with T-mobile webnwalk.
Also had a look at a cuple of o2 mobile, quite nice.

What does "Tv on your mobile" cost these days?

edit : just seen the 6680, also looks quite good.

I can recommend SE K800i

I have been using one for almost a year now and the phone is one of the best around.

Meets all those criteria and more

Mongoose

another vote for SE, I have a W810i which meets all your needs as far as I know (I dont do web stuff, file transfer or play games on it so cant comment there). Great phone, intuitive controls and can use standard 3.5mm jack headphones without modification.

Eggtastico

Ive strayed once from Nokia.. to a motorola.. never ever again

Beaker

HTC Hermes.

I.E
T-Mobile Vario 2
Orange M3100

I still swear blind with my W800i.  IMO it has the best camera I have come across on mobile phones due to its autofocus, it means your photos will be sharp and in focus (hopefully).  You can get some decent deals on the W800is direct replacement the W810i but it doesnt have a cover on the camera lens however the "joystick" is now a joypad which should make it more resilient.  It is one common problem with SE phones, the joysticks do tend to fail.

Another vote for SE.  Im trying to kill of my T610 for an excuse to get a new phone.  I cant get rid of it while it works.  Atm teh down on the joystick does not work and I have some yellow pixels on the screen after hitting it a few times.  Its been a rather resilient phone over the years.

BTW, please note.  Stay away from O2 for web browsing and the like.  Was _finally_ given a full explanation on their Data Tariffs.  Basically if you want 1Gb of data, hard capped thatll set you back Ã,£30 a month.  T-Mobile are 1Gb fair usage, and please dont go over it or well tell you off.

Pretty much the best of the packages i could find are the T-Mobile ones.  3Gb Fair Usage will set you back Ã,£13 a month on top of whatever tariff you chose.  Orange wasn;t too bad either, but T-M just edged them out.  forget 3, they want you to take the huge NEC thing or nothing, Virgin dont "do" high-end phones and Vodaphone had a limited package as well.

The K800 hasnt been out for a year. I have one though and theyre superb.
