In fact as there isnt a thread here may be worth saying.

Pop into your local lidls they have a shedload of bike stuff going really cheap.

SPD shoes seemingly exactly the same as my Shimano MT-20s going for £12.99

Cycling jerseys, shorts, underwear, jackets, panniers, handlebar bags, handlebar map holders, pedals, helmets, reflectives, selle royale saddles, toolkits.

I went and bought a waterproof roll top pannier (very very much like the drysacks you get for kayaking, but with plastic clips to attach to a rack), and some reflective snap bands to hold my trousers in (theyre intended for wrist usage or something but meh they do the job as trouser clips), £11.98 for the lot.

American housemate, bought helmet, spd shoes, toolkit, repair kit (containing a bunch of cables, bolts, washers), speedo (solar powered oooh) and some other bits and bobs Bargainous!

its been replaced now. might be an idea to get a couple of spares as i seem to be going through them quite a lot recently haha.
