Put a tenner on Bolton to go down, you never know. They have no money and an average squad - without Sam they wont be punching above their weight anymore.

Honestly, I would have to agree. I am partial to Bolton but without Big Sam I cant see them doing well.  It just shows how good a manager he is to get a small team like Bolton into the top half of the Premiership let lone qualifying for Europe.

I dont know who they can bring in to replace him.  Sammy Lee who is the current Assistant turned down an oppurtunity to manage a lower league team.  Suggests he knew what was coming and wanted the chance to manage Bolton.

I also cant see where he is going to go now unless the England job is going to come available unexpectadly.  Previously stated by Phil Gartside, Sam would only leave Bolton for one of the Big 3...   Is this Alexs swansong? Is Mourihno going to be shown the doorfor not winning the league?  Arsene walking because David Deane spat out his dummy?

All I will say is Big Sam was a breath of fresh air to Bolton and they wouldnt be where they are if it wasnt for him.  Bolton owe him a huge debt of gratitude.

Hes a good manager who with Bolton could never win anything, obviously he wants a chance with a bigger club he thinks he can turn into a force. Newcastle or Man City (with investment) ?

I wouldnt be so quick to say they will go down. Sammy Lee is one of the major reasons Bolton have done so well, he is regarded as being one of, if not, the best coach in Britain.

He has always wanted to go into management, tis why he left Liverpool when Rafa was appointed. So Id wait to see what he can do first.

Gary Speed will prob get a shot next. I think hell make a fantastic manager.
