Im so glad they canned it and built a new in house engine for HL2.  This looks plain addictive fun.  The original concept was terrible.

What was the original concept for the sequel?

I will have a look for some of the original concept shots from years back im sure I have them on a Hard Drive somewhere!

Yeap this looks fantastic; I was originally put off by their concept work too.

^^^ Engineer would build sentry guns, manable machine guns know I can;t say it was easy to guess who was what from screen shots.

It just looked like a tweaked version of oposing force with a few touches here and there.

Its been in the making longer than, HL2 8 years I believe.
