Im hopefully going to be buying a flat soon, and at the moment have a 21" CRT, which will probably take up half my lounge    So could really do with a TFT to save space.

Im thinking 19", but dont want to spend a lot. Looking on Tekheads, there seems to be a lot for £100....like this:
http://www.tekheads.co.uk/s/product?product=607443  It says the response time is 2ms.........now I was under the impression that that is very good?? And say 12ms is slow?

Any advice is much appreciated!

as always Im going to suggest Hanns G. I have their 19" widescreen TFT - cost me £130.00 delivered 6 months ago and its absolutely great. Picture, colours, motion all fantastic and I use it for everything (tv, xbox360, wii, pc) so its always on. Nice design too.

£110.00 delivered bargain!
Career, Wife, Mortgage... my sig was better when it listed guitars and PC's and stuff!

Will check that out cheers! A mate of mine has a Hanns G, different to the one you linked to, but he says its fine as well.

Due to these new glossy black Samsung widescreens, the previous generation of widescreen syncmasters are available widely quite cheaply; just got a 940BW for £133 for parents, most respectable.

Will have a search for them ones, cheers :)

What about this HannsG one? With google checkout I should get another tenner off it. Will need to buy a DVI cable as well with it though http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/117211

HannsG seem to have taken over from Digimate.
That one from ebuyer @ £85 posted is a bargain.

Hanns G are already a hugr name in the US and they will be here too Im sure. Theyre jsut starting to get themselves into the mainstream suppliers now and expanding their product range over here. I really dont think you can get a better monitor for the money.

Hanns G screens are a good bargin TFT. I used one for the first 6ish months of having my 360; it was ideal :)

chrisdicko

Cool, think I will go Hanns G then, as I just want a cheapo one.

Serious

TBH you wont notice any difference under 16ms gio for good colour and even lighting. Hanns G screens are usually good enough.

chrisdicko

Got a Hanns G one! Seems perfect really.

Is it worth getting a DVI lead?
