Thats definitely a better one, although I was surprised when they didnt announce another season.

Mind death getting kneed in the personals wasnt too bad.

How does the alt ending of red dwarf differ ?

In the originally televised version the crew dont get the cure for the nasty bug on board, Most of the crew have already abandoned ship and those left on board go through into the alternate universe. Except for Rimmer who ends up stuck on board. He faces off with death and it ends with the ship burning but not yet destroyed.

becuase the writers fell out and the movie tried to continue life but in the end folded as well
