Still random disconnects from Punkbuster

goto > PB site, says its "AV and Firewall and Other random programs fault"

I /lol at PB/EA

I play wow, coh, aa, gw, Lotro not a single problem, and i bet they all have PB=Anti cheat type program built in.

Hats off to real devs, but EA/PB are sinking slowly in the sh*triver (notice lahey tpboyz type joke here)

I hate the fact they change punk buster to be a running service with a on all the time and b when you play the game but meh, quake wars soon enough and ill be on that.
Anyway my firewall ports all set up fine, not a problem, EA login server is crap and slow logging in sometimes but not had your issue

I login, join a server, can be playing for an hour or a day without a problem, but randomly pb will throw me out, ill try another server get thrown out again, until i either reboot or PB throws an error off.

Whats teasing me is that its so random....  :x

punkbuster throws funnys with me to. most of the time its punkbuster not updating itself properly. (when it says verifying client data) so i installed pbsetup.exe and bully it into updating itself befor i run the game.

I never got PB to work.  Never touched it since.

Well ive had enough ill uninstall this crap once again, had about 2 days of playtime over 2 completely different computers, this game is just crap.

I supose your gonna have problems when they go stupid on anti cheat.

I did not play cs source for ages, friends started playing 1.6 so I got that for all of £8 as it was on offer on steam, started playing, stopped for ages, everyone started having loads of games one week again so installed again - banned
Did nothing, date they said I apparently was cheating I was in hospital having and getting over an operation, scanned letters emailed them, heard nothing, lol

Loads of people get banned randomly off steam even when you do not, glitches happen due to packet lost and it sends it nuts sometimes, it takes Months and Months to get un banned if you manage to at all, Valve are terrible in terms of support so people get pissed off.

As far as i remember PB was designed for Americas Army in the beginning and now its been adopted by all the other game companies, just seems like a cost free easy way out to me.

thats exactly what happend to me. didnt play for like a year and when i installed it again it just said this account has been deactivated.
pile of sh*t tbh.

If you actuly read the terms and conditions you can find somthing to ban vertuly everyone anyway, Its all a huge money making scam tbh.
