Anyone use them? Recently started looking for Xbox 360 and Wii games on there (dont use the discussion threads as theres just no community or atmosphere IMO) and got some good deals from some friendly people.

Reason I ask is I was wondering if anyone else has found the moderators a bit heavy handed? I just got 2 infraction points (hope they dont affect me insurance lol!) and about 5 pms going nuts at me because I posted on someones sale thread suggesting a price was too high. Fair enough its against the rules but youd think a new member would get a polite warning first. Not being funny but theyve got that many goddamn rules that if you actually did sit and read them all by the time youd finished the internet would probably be out of date!!  :D
Career, Wife, Mortgage... my sig was better when it listed guitars and PC's and stuff!

All the big sites are like that to weed out the riff raff. DVDForums have a similar black book system. They all expect you to check the guidelines before posting. It all works tbh!

Were not big enough these days to be so Nazi (even though were still called it, despite being about as Nazi as the Dalai Lama).

I always found the mods here to be perfectly reasonable (even Serious before he deserted.... :) )

If growth means the forums would have to be like that then I hope  tekforums stays as it is........

A couple of months ago I went through all my email from about 4-5 years ago, 90% of them were telling people to change their sig, or to give a reason why I locked/deleted their thread/post.

We werent so different a few years ago, we were just nicer about it.  8-)

Kunal

I use it... great for actual substance if youre into that kinda stuff.

Being nicer about it is WHY you were different. I had no problem being told off - I was in the wrong and happy to put my hands up. Just no need to go crazy at me because of one misplaced (yet unoffensive) post its childish.

We were never nazi. Even at the tightest the rules were relatively simple, even for SC, and I wrote those (basically they said if you posted you were guilty!) Although I never used them anywhere near the extent they allowed.

Perhaps we should have tried it though?

I havent deserted, I only manned the lifeboat and retreated to a safe distance... :yarr:

If they need me then Im here and available, but as always, its their choice. TBH, at the moment, I dont think I am needed. Always gives me more time for downloading pron
