If its just black and white you want get a laser.

Bought mine for £18 from speedie computers :) (google they have a website), HP 1100 laserjet. Absolutely brilliant, had a bit of an issue with paper feeding, but replaced the roller (50p) and voila sorted. Still running on the toner cart that it came with inside.

Agreed with others on Dont buy Lexmark :P

I vote for HP, used their printers at old work and got 2 here at home, never had a problem with them.

Oh and as said above... just text? get a laser
