Ive had my new phone two weeks, and the other night, I was playing my my friends kid (not in a dirty way!!!!) and was chucking him about etc after hed just eaten, and he puked on my phone!! I did lol coz it served me right!

But, it doesnt work now (wont turn on), although it look fine, and I cant see any water ingress etc. The only thing I can tell which has changed is on the battery, where there are the connections on the battery, there was a tiny white square which is a sticker!! Now, this has changed Red since the incident. I was wanting to phone tmobile, and send it back as faulty. Could I be right in thinking they wouldnt actually pull the phone apart, as I doubt tmobile techs are the skilled, so would they check this sticker on the battery do you think and if its red wont replace it due to it getting wet?? Which is obviously the users fault. So i was going to swap batteries with my friend, then send it away for a replacement......would this work do you think, or not chance?? It doesnt smell of sick or anything! Just wont work and the battery sticker is red.

Cheers

Yep, modern phones have this sticker that goes red with water contact, so they can diagnose people dropping their phones in the loo quicker.  Swap batteries, or give tippex a try :D

Yeah, ive never seen it before, but thought that must be what it was for!!

So when you send them back for repair, do they take the phone apart, or just check the sticker do you think??

And if the sticker is white, theyll send you a new 1 without much testing??
