Trying to find some screenshots, but proving a bit of a pain.

Sounds good though, for those without a Media Center

Ive heard of it before, but its supposed to be a bit naff IIRC.

...and as I have just been informed; the Wii doesnt have HD outputs so therell be no point streaming HD media through it :s

HD aside, sounds pretty good for the home user who has a bunch of mp3/xvids though.

OOOOhhh :-D

I know it can play Xvids already, but they have to be re-encoded.

This is good news & another media extender I can utulise at home.

Pity they cant decide on a standard or somthing.

I was thinking its pretty cool as a quick movable streamer.  If I am sick in bed and want to watch some eps of Prison Break, I can just plug in quickly to bedroom tv.

Cheaper to get a modded Xbox1 with XBMC

mrt

Cheaper still to get a xvid player for £25 and burn em to disc, although if you have a Wii ...

soopahfly

Funnily Enough, Bigpockets have a HDMI DVD player which plays Divx/Xvid from disc and has a USB port so you can stream straight from an ext HDD.

All for about £35

Does it not? I am sure my mate bought a HDMI cable for his Wii :|

It does not support the likes of 720/1080i/p, but you can get a component cable so it will output 480p ...
