Calling all fans, I read this again.

Well, I can tell anyone that the powers-that-be in Hollywood and at Twentieth Century Fox played heavily into the films mixed bag treatment. If the movie fails, Id blame constant executive and studio interference - the b*****ds in suits who decide they want to cater to teenage fanboys instead of the largely adult fan base that this film was originally built on. In doing so, they opt for action over story, more importantly, $$$ over artistic vision.

To get this, PG-13" rating, they must have cut it to bits.

does the extended version, have the  cut scenes.

The Extended cut merely consists of an alternate opening sequence and is different to the 8-minutes longer Unrated cut which has only been released on R1.

The comic is the original for avp set on one of the colonised planets having the atmosphere made and aliens are on it and predictors are there and turns into a nice party

Unrated has Clockd 0Ne has got a few extra full scenes and the whole movie has longer cuts and better cut scenes all the way through, ltd edition is just packaged fancy with only a few extra bits like the comic and latter documentaries made

You dont want the region 2, definitely get yourself the R1 if you can. Fox is releasing a new Definitive edition in the coming weeks, it might be worth waiting to see if that is the full uncut or not.
