Im thinking of buying a Wireless media player. My PC is on the other side of the room from my TV, and im wanting to play stuff through my TV which I have on my PC.

There is something like this which would work I think:

Not really mate, As my PC is totally on the other side of the room, so Id need wireless really.

Be a man and run a wire.  Wireless is utterly useless.

Wouldnt that be through the TV via VGA?? Found pleanty of VGA cables long enough.

vga dont carry sound bud, youd need hdmi with one of those sound injectors since pc gfx cards dont send sound up hdmi yet (I think)

Network cable is thinner than VGA cable You can get it REALLY thin.

Well Ive decided to use my new HP mini pc for a media player now, and have Ultimate on it, so will use that now.

Just a matter of setting up the Media Centre correctly and see how it goes. Got to find a SB Live! 5.1 driver for Vista....doesnt seem to be one anywhere that works correctly.

To be fair, Creative never wrote a driver that worked properly anyway.  :\
