Anyone know how to re-configure a sky pay-once box (no subscription)?

Can I do it or do i need to have it done at a shop? I can see the dave channel but it says im not subscribed (same with E4, film4 and other newly free-view channels).

Love this channel now! Top Gear, Ray Mears and Red Dwarf. All you can possibly need on one tv.

I Laughed when i first saw the name of the channel the other day while flicking through sky "Dave" lol it looks like a pretty good channel actually and i hope it stays on Freeview for a long time yet.

Really good channel Top Gear, Bottom, Red Dwarf, QI, Buzzcocks etc awesome channel and its on Freeview. :D

As for your problem sexytw some of the channels that are free on freeview are still part of the sky subscription packages on sky, so the likes of E4, Dave (formally UKTV G2) can only be seen for free on Freeview atm.

The new Channel Dave is actually re-branded from UKTV Gold 2 basically its just UK Gold 2 but with a new name.

Sky Freesat with a free 6 months subscription even with that after the subscription is up you wont be able to get those channels for free on satellite.
