decided i wanted to know what my turbo was doing so bought one of these
http://www.rspec.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=3_73&products_id=228

i had a broken a vent so decided to put it there,

sorted out all the electrics and the pipe from the map sensor so it works nicely. Only 19PSI :(

got the back lighting sorted, keeping it looking standard with the orange.

That is all

Thanks.

Mark

their gauges are good value for money.

I got the stepper motor with peak AFR, oil temp and oil pressure gauges.

id like an oil temp guage, so i know when i can start thrashing it but dont like the idea of the senders that go on the filter housing.

Mark

I have two - one for engine oil temp, the other is post turbo oil temperature - just so I know the water jacket on the turbo is cooling it properly.

Going to tap the turbo for a water temp as well.

Being overly paranoid with this setup.

I actually did a double take there when I saw the boost reading at idle, and then remembered it was a diesel which naturally has no throttle!

nowt wrong with a gauge, imo one of the first things you should do to a Fi motor is boost gauge and Air/Fuel gauge. too expensive not to.

Matt

Binary Shadow

it revs to 4.5k rpm so i assume its a diesel.. and your running a boost gauge?

You were right with the subject line..

Bartop

Gotta love gauges, oil pressure, oil temp and boost defis currently on order for the new scoob

that loks like a good fit in that vent, nice job :)

Pete

I know sh*ts bad right now with all that starving bullsh*t and the dust storms and we are running out of french fries and burrito coverings.

Poison_UK

Does it come with instructions for the install? I was looking for some Oil/Water tempature ones for the Civic for the main reason of knowing when I can give it some hammering. :)
