I want a digital SLR camera but im a noob so advise meh

entry level or more advanced?

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-L1 is out soon
Worlds ugliest cam but should be a good one and uses 4/3 system.

I have the Olympus e-500 but there are a few to look at
Olympus E-500 or E-330, Nikon D70 or D50, Canon 350D or 30D, the Pentax *ist range all being best suited for entry level IMO

Not gonna get DSLR but a nice Fuji s5600 would be had for that price.

Cheapest SLR is going to cost in excess of Ã,£350 for a Nikon D50 with basic 18-55 zoom lens.

The S5600 is a nice alternative if you dont have the dosh to go for a full setup
