Didnt find any suitable lettering for the competition though, I probably wasnt looking hard enough.

Haha, nope. Its a beautiful city though, pretty disappointed I got so few nice shots, the whole place is amazing. Fantastic beer and chocolate.
Also, highlight of the trip, I sat next to Jean-Claude Van Damme and his son in a coffee shop at Brussels Eurostar terminal. Brilliant.
Looks a real nice place!
Thats somewhere where I havent been yet, but would like to. Recommend any nice hotels?
Nice pics too! Did you photoshop the day -> night shot of the bridge shot?
like 1st one.. is it cropped anywhere? I would suggest maybe putting it in photoshop & straightening the photo so it looks like the tower is straight.
That depends on how much room you have to play with & the crop though.
nice photos. Brugge is a really nice place. we stayed in a hotel called Brugeotel which was about a 10mins walk from the town centre and they where very helpfull and firendly, also it was really cheap iirc.
here are my pics from Brugge, all very amature though Im afraid.

We stayed in
De Barge hotel, a hotel on a boat, it was quirky and obviously had reasonably small rooms but it was really clean and friendly. 5 minutes from the station and 10 from the city center. Id recommend it if youre looking for something a bit different.
The day and night bridge shots are different shots, all the shots have been tweaked in lightroom but nothing dramatic, mostly just upping the contrast/vibrance/saturation.

I hadnt noticed the tower wasnt straight, ill take a look at rotating it. I dont think this one is cropped but I have a few different versions. Annoyingly I didnt have a full tripod with me for the night shots so I was using a gorillapod, made it rather tricky to get the shots I wanted.

Thats cool.
I recently watched In Bruges and straight away decided it would be a really nice place to visit. Magical as they say.
My favourite is the third shot, that could easily be on a postcard. 8-)

It could just be my eyes + it may put the tower on the right out of aligment, which may not look
