Ive post-processed these a bit more heavily than normal, thinking Id see whether they come out better, I think they have, but am curious what people think. My past experiences with post-processing have gone:
No PP
Discovering PP and sharpening = oversharpened, over processed
Realising the error of my ways and cutting down to much more refined PP and sharpening
Now - Getting curious what the different features in Camera Raw do.

From what we were saying earlier, there were about 260 photos taken, about 50 were the tree hollow one which Ive not looked at yet as thatll be an HDR jobby.

Im happy with the posted images at the size they appear on the forums, but I dont like how bad they are at full res, hence my regret of not taking tripod. Almost tempted to go back out tomorrow if the sun is shining avec tripod and spend a few hours stalking moss on some treestumps :D

Im using a Canon 100mm macro lens.

Tempted to try and put the droplet photo on a stock site but I know itll get rejected for being out of focus or something ><

Thats a nice lens, Kunal on the forum has one, how much did you pay, where did you get it from? So very tempted....

I do like the water drop pic, but actually prefer the mushroom shot, you could just submit them see what they say?

If you look at them at original size i think they look a bit soft, was hand held and i hadnt really paid any attention to the settings or anything

The colour in your shots is much better than mine. What profile do you have your camera on? Or could this be another Jpg vs Raw thing where the camera sorts the colour out more for the jpg, and you need to tweak the colour on the raw files?

It was an ebay special. About £300 I think. It was second hand (mint, boxed and still got the manual etc) and I got a UV filter thrown in.

Id submit them but given better focus get rejected for more obscure reasons, and most of these sites seem to have things in where if the ratio of accepts/rejects ends up too much on the reject side you go into probation, its not worth the risk :(
