A few pictures I took at the Royal International Air Tattoo yesterday. I got nice and burnt and look like a lobster at the moment.

Nice photies but should have splashed out some dosh on sunscreen. Getting lobstered isnt worth it with the present increasing levels of skin cancer.
The shot of the 25 Squadron F3 youve posted on Flickr is rather good, as is the FRA Falcon 20. You need to try a slightly slower shutter speed for the rotary/turboprop/piston aircraft to get some good rotor/prop blur.
Were the Thunderbirds as mind numbingly tedious as always?

ditto with the Lynx and any other helecopter better nicely blurred disks than just the points blurred IMO TBH it looks not quite in focus to me.
its a bomber, not a fighter as such. wasnt designed as one.
sorry to split hairs.

I had some to take with me, but I forgot it. When I got in the stand it started raining so I wasnt too bothered. It warmed up a bit, but I was watching the display so didnt go to the shops straight away, by the time Id bought some cream and a hat it was too late. :whoops:

The Red Arrows and the Italian team were both better in my opinion, but to be fair the Thunderbirds display was earlier in the day when it was very cloudy, so I dont know if they changed their display to suit.

Agreed. To be honest I had the camera on auto as I havent got as far as setting it up for myself to capture something like this.
