noticed its a CCD. All the canon peeps will tell you how inferior that is to cmos.  :lol:

Wonder how much the cam would cost?

Im a Canon user :P

My only hatred of CCD sensors Is the marketing I suppose..  you get like a 10mmx7mm CCD in the back of your consumer level cameras but they have a 12MP sticker on the front and everyone thinks itll take great pictures :roll:

This one maybe many MP, but its 4" square!

Chances are they will also use extreme cooling on it.

The Panasonic sensors are vulnerable to heat induced noise if they go above 200iso. The FZ30 is possibly a step too far in this regard which is why I didnt upgrade.

My brothers Canon 350D produces better photies in low light than my FZ30 as I suspected. Given reasonable lighting though its a close thing up to A3.
