lol noticed you fixed the thread I made about my finger

it didn't work and I pretty much gave up

I blame you nige, it's ever since you moved south - pretty much as far south as possible, it's obviously your flamboyant southern ways using too much punctuation and stupid little "cuddles" type text speak

when I went to A+E they bandaged me up, said if it's still alive tomorrow we'll fix it back on, if it's dead we'll take it off

back the next day, surgeon takes a look, all good he says, it's alive and doing well, we'll fix it back on

then they left me sitting in the waiting room 9 hours

on the operating table they un-bandaged it, said it's dead we'll have to cut it off... crossed everything off on the consent form they'd had me sign, wrote new stuff on and had me sign it laying flat on the operating table

pretty pissed off about that

and I've just realised... overnight bandage was tight holding it on... after they checked in the morning and re-bandaged it wasn't tight... weird it survived 12hours,  overnight, me bumping it in my sleep etc. then died in the waiting room... bet it wasn't pushed on tight enough

no pain at all when I did it

I wasn't even using them to cut at the time, I had them held to my chest with my left arm while I pulled on brambles with both hands... finger when in the jaws and a bit of bramble must have pushed the trigger... couldn't make it up

heard the noise of them cutting, felt them cut my finger, didn't know how bad it was

dropped everything... had thick gloves on, the finger was cut through... peeled the glove back and realised I was peeling my finger back too, cut right through the last knuckle, just a little flap of skin/flesh holding it on

The pretty URL generator breaks when it encounters apostrophes, speech marks, possibly some other kinds of punctuation. To fix it I have to update the pretty URLs in the database. If you spot any more examples that need fixing let me know in this thread and I can sort them.

This is all clearly Alan's fault

Is that why when I try to open my old subnetting guide in the projects section it just takes me back to page 1 of the listings?

Yes, basically the pretty URL generator breaks when it encounters apostrophes, speech marks, possibly some other kinds of punctuation. To fix it I have to update the pretty URLs in the database. I've just fixed yours, but if you spot any more examples that need fixing let me know in the recent errors thread.
