Got a new back box yestarday and fitted it as my old one, well it was so badly rusted it had came away from the pipe and I was running about without one.

So I got a new one from NPA Ltd for £33. Quik-Fit told me £53!

I did get one from a 1.1 106 from a scrappy for £10 but it had a different bore, I thought they might be all the same.

Front Brakes are going to get done tonight!

Oh and I also got a bit of tubing from The Peugeot Clinic over gateshead for free and that is now my vacum tube. As the one me and Alan bodged wasnt really working to well.

get them from somewhere that does alloy wheels - ppl often discard the steel rims there and then - if theyre 4 stud, they will be the same as 306, zx, xsara, etc etc - i wouldnt pay more than £5 each for them

To do:
Replace ball joints
Replace front discs and pads
Stop hand brake cable from sticking.
New OS rear wheel arch trim
Fix crack in bumper, or get a new one
Fix Bonnet (get a body shop to beat the bonnet back into shape)
Wash and Polish
Headlight bracket (scrappy)
New Decals
New speakers in front

Done: (May 06 to 12/07/06)
New Vacum pipe
Replaces NS rear wheel bearing
Replaced backbox
Fix rear window heater
Secured bumper
Connected up rear 6x9s
Secured radio with the cage.
Filled up brake fluid
Filled up engine oil
Washed car.
Fixed door as it was lying ~5mm to low and when it closed it would make a horrid noise. (used a jack to jack it up and let it bend it back into shape)
Pushed bonnet down, reshaped it as much as possible
Connected up bonnet leaver cable to latch.
