As I type this pictures are being uploaded from our 1st days work on the rallye

The URL is http://www.fya-lan.co.uk/106-rallye

Take a look.

Ill resize them later.

Theres also some of Alans Engine. I havnt even looked at the pics.

To do:
New OS rear wheel arch trim
Crack in bumper and see if the bumper can be upped on both sides at all
Get brakes looked at
Get the engine looked at
Get new front fog lamps
Fix Bonnet (get a body shop to beat the bonnet back into shape)
Wash and Polish
Headlight bracket  (scrappy)
New Decals
New speakers in front

Done: (13/05/06)
Fix rear window heater
Secured bumper
Connected up rear 6x9s
Secured radio with the cage.
Filled up brake fluid
Filled up engine oil
Washed car.
Fixed door as it was lying ~5mm to low and when it closed it would make a horrid noise. (used a jack to jack it up and let it bend it back into shape)
Pushed bonnet down, reshaped it as much as possible
Connected up bonnet leaver cable to latch.

So is the door re-allighned and the bonnet re-done?

Guessing the fogs are out and awaiting new ones :) Need to give it a complete clean down and T-Cut imo :) And some new De-Cals for the car and will look spot on :) I still want to buy it off you :)

All my parts are now on order and should be with me on Thursday, got friday, saturday, sunday off work to do all the major sickening work... Tracking is booked in at me local garage for monday once I got all the things sorted out and booking MoT in for Tuesday.

youve got the front fogs in your list twice :p

and I bet we could do a better job on the bumper and bonnet too :)

edit: I wonder if we could change the bracket around so the bracked on the car came down inside the bracket we made ?  is easier than making a new one :)  (we kinda rushed it)

+ a bit of bending = perfect !

Get rid of the heavy alloy wheels, sell them if necessary, get steel wheels and spend the money on decent tyres rather than shiny wheels.

Not to sure.

I dont know tbh.

Might get the steelies and just see which look better tbh. I want to have a car I like at the end of the day, but I will get the steelies eventually.

Any old PSA steel rims at all - you will probably literally be able to get given a set at anywhere that does alloys - customers who dont want their old wheels, and theyd just get scrapped anyway - then spend your dough on a good set of grippy tyres - youll thank yourself for it later.

Tyres are the most important part of the suspension - theyre the only point ofcontact that you have with the road.
