We dont seem to have one.

Im waiting for the game to install and update and all that, so might as well start one.

What servers and characters is everyone on?

Zpyder: Chrys - Dark Templar - Dagon (PvE)
Chris H: Aelfwine - Bear Shaman - Aquilonia (PvP/RP)
Shaun: Iliena - Demonologist - Dagon

Its a sort of, not an official. People in a month or twos time that decide to start playing and see what servers everyones on might not think to look in a thread abou a preorder cockup?

Plus theres a distinct lack of server/character info in that thread anyway. I intend to keep the top post updated with a list of Forum members, their characters, and the servers theyre on.

I was kind of hoping the servers would be on at midnight last night (IE, the start of the 23rd?)

I was impressed with the account stuff. I expected it to be very slow from demand like LOTRO was. I just hope that if the servers come on at 6pm tonight that theyre not overwhelmed and have shoddy connections etc. I might be tempted to do an all nighter if the connections stable, if not, Ill start on Season 3 of BSG.

Playing as Aelfwine, a nearly 40 Bear Shaman on Aquilonia, the EU PvP/RP server. Ive got to say Bear Shaman is probably the most enjoyable and rewarding class Ive played, but Ive played a lot of other classes through beta and I wouldnt recommend it as a first choice, there is a lot of micro management to get the most from your heals and dps. For a lot of fun I definitely recommend Barbarian, Ill be rolling another in the not too distant future.

How is everyones hands and play times?
In wow you could play for hours and hours, I guess this is not the case here and when people are raiding I suppose you cant do as long or as much as you would in wow through the dynamic combat

At about level 8 on my Dark templar now. Not so sure whether I like the class atm, got suckered in by the leaching health, but it doesnt seem that effective tbh, better to just do damage and then rest outside of combat!

Server seems to be doing ok. It seems to get really laggy and then clear up again pretty quickly in cycles, which is annoying, but no where near as bad as Ive seen in LOTRO or WoW when it was just starting up.

The chat will take a bit of tweaking to filter stuff out, and the Tortage quests are starting to wear thin :(

Oh, and Ive just dug out my gel wrist/mouse pad Nexus
