After Battle Squadron my favourite was a good 2 player game of Silkworm:

Career, Wife, Mortgage... my sig was better when it listed guitars and PC's and stuff!

What about Commandos or whatever it was? played a bit like Contra, set in the jungle, but was a bit more cartoony? That was good fun.

Hes one.

Kind of like a first person shooter, but in vehicles. Played in an arena on different planets.

I vaguely remember the vehicles being 3D boxes rather than any form of solid textures.

Xenon 2 rocked by the way.

Are you sure you dont mean hunter? lt was very much based on earth, and is still an awesome game.

Terrorpods was. Pretty much all the pages I could find mentioning it (not many) all had people saying the same thing..."Looked good, but WTH were you meant to do?" I thought it was because I was only 5 at the time that I didnt get what to do, but seems it wasnt!

this is already my favourite thread for ages! We should  have a retro thread and discuss old games. I might even start doing some new reviews of old games that could be fun :)

I seem to recall a number of cracking games on the Amiga that I spent many hours playing. Gunship 2000, Zeewolf, Turrican, TFX, Space Hulk, Simon the Sorcerer, Silent Service, Red Storm Rising, Prince of Persia, James Pond, Jet Set Willy, Spindizzy, Subwar 2050, Syndicate, Tornado, and of course, Simcity.

James Pond 2 ROBOCOD - was awesome. I was also a big fan of a little known game called Santas Xmas Caper :)
