Hmm, thatll be interesting. I pretty much got into MW in MW2:Mercs, which pretty much is set around the clan invasions. I think all the books Ive read have been either during or post invasion.

Itll be good to get some kind of background to the old houses and factions rivalries :D

Did anyone play MW4 with keyboard and mouse? I found the way it played to be better off with a joystick.

I used to use KB + Mouse for jump sniper practice (Game team decided I should learn because it would make me a better sniper hunter), however usually just used a stick because it was easier for brawling, and for running around at full-tilt shooting sh*t.

If the new mechwarrior game is out as soon as you say I think I could safely say that my free time will now be over with :D

Love the Mechwarrior series, shame the old clan disappeared, nothing better than organised destruction.

The new "Mechwarrior" titled game wont be out until late 2010 I would guess.  However this is an unboxed, unlocked and FREE Mechwarrior 4 :: Mercenaries.  Yes the campaign sucks, but the multiplay is still awesome fun.

Its a shame I binned the old Joystick years ago but I used to play MW2 and MW3 with the keyboard and mouse so MW4 shouldnt be an issue. Will dig out the old CDs and the expansion packs and get it installed again.

I actually found I couldnt get on with keyboard/mouse with MW4. 2&3 were fine, and the opposite. But I just found 4 to be slightly more demanding of a proper control for rotation etc.
